Mrs. Macias’ Class

Dear Parents,

April has brought the Red Aprons so many stories, discoveries, and learning. We enjoyed talking about spring and watching the leaves and the flowers grow in our surroundings. We learned about ponds and some of the many creatures and plants that live in them.

Time sure flies when you are having fun. It seems like yesterday when we were all just trying to get to know each other. Look at us now, we have grown into a big Red Apron Family and the school year is almost about to end. But before the school year ends, please mark your calendars for the special events that are happening throughout the months of May and June.

We will celebrate Moms at preschool on Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th.  We will play, create a card for Father’s Day, have a yummy snack and sing. We hope to see you on this special day.

We will celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd.  We will dance to Mexican music and end our day with a yummy snack.

No School on Monday May 27th for Memorial Day!

Mrs. Guardado and I would like to give A BIG THANK YOU to the families who donated items to our class and for volunteering with special events, class parties, washing aprons, checking out library books for the class and field trips. We couldn’t have had so much fun without you!

We are so proud of how much all our little friends have grown and we will have heavy hearts as we watch them move on to either the Pre-K classes or Kindergarten.  We have enjoyed watching the children grow, playing with them and helping them to learn socially, academically, emotionally and about themselves.  We love all the children and will miss seeing them every day.  Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of their lives and yours; it has been an honor.

With love,

Mrs. Macias and Mrs. Guardado
